If I try, I can feel the pressure of my muscle fibers stretching with intention around my brain, my heart, my mouth, and my hands. Work a little harder, stretch a little farther. I know that troponin and myosin allow my muscles to contract, but I also know my secret. My muscles have grown resilient and tears are repaired with a glue-like substance produced in the center of my being.  This well contains hope and love that keep my fears at bay to tackle another day.
